Horizons of Silence

A sonic journey by Museca

There are places you can only reach by listening.

Horizons of Silence is a collection of 13 original compositions shaped by stillness, movement, memory, and light. Inspired by the ambient and Balearic spirit of Café del Mar, this album travels quietly — across oceans, cultures, and emotional landscapes — using rhythm not to rush, but to drift.

From the flamenco dusk of Andalusia to the wind-etched dunes of Persia… from a jazz-soaked lighthouse to a Japanese train humming through twilight… each track evokes a different corner of the inner world. Wordless voices, whispered languages, and ancient instruments rise and dissolve over smooth grooves and ambient textures, creating a space where time stretches and breath slows.

This is music for the thresholds — for sunsets and afterthoughts, for memories not yet named, and for feelings that don’t need words. A classical guitar becomes the last voice before silence. A trumpet echoes into fog. A shakuhachi exhales at the edge of the sea.

Horizons of Silence is not meant to be followed.

It is meant to follow you.
Wherever your stillness begins.

Liner Notes

Last Light on Cala Nova

A gentle fingerpicked guitar opens the journey as the sun dips below the Balearic sea. The light softens, the waves hush, and memory begins to float.

Desierto del Alma

Flamenco meets dub in a hypnotic mirage. Echoes of clapping hands and desert wind carry Andalusian emotion through a rhythm that never quite touches the ground.

Azure Drift

A breath between thoughts. This track lets the listener dissolve — into tides, into sky, into something formless. Oceanic ambient at its purest.

Moonflower Lament

A late-night lounge piece where piano weeps gently and time folds inward. The kind of melody played when no one is watching but everyone feels it.

Savannah Whisper

Earth-toned percussion and ancestral echoes create a tribal dreamscape. A spiritual groove grounded in pulse, silence, and distant fire.

Glass Wings

Delicate but unbreakable. This electronic lullaby drifts on breathy vocals in English and French, capturing the tenderness of something real and almost forgotten.

Lyrics

[Verse 1 – Soft, breathy female voice]
I saw your shadow on the tide
A fragile thing you tried to hide
Your silence wrote across the air
A secret I could almost wear

[Chorus – Slightly more melodic but still airy]
We rise on glass wings in the night
Too thin to hold, too clear for flight
But still we float, still we believe
In what the light will never grieve

[Verse 2 – Continue soft delivery]
Your voice, a thread I couldn’t keep
It pulled me through a drifting sleep
The stars were close but never stayed
Like everything we almost said

[Bridge – Whispered French verse, airy tone]
Je vole sans forme, sans nom…
Chaque battement me fait trembler.
Tu n’es pas ici, mais je te sens…
Comme une aile faite de lumière.

(Translation for context — not sung:
I fly without shape, without name…
Each beat makes me tremble.
You’re not here, but I feel you…
Like a wing made of light.)

[Chorus – Repeat, softer, with harmonies]
We rise on glass wings in the night
Too thin to hold, too clear for flight
But still we float, still we believe
In what the light will never grieve

[Outro – Humming + echoes of “Comme une aile faite de lumière”]
(Let the final French line repeat and fade with layered delay)

Mirage in Blue

Balearic synths shimmer across a steady groove like sunlight on sea glass. Nostalgic, warm, and hypnotic — a mirage you don’t want to leave.

Nomad’s Lantern

A mystical oud winds through Persian trip-hop, with whispered lyrics in Farsi glowing like embers in the sand. A night caravan of sound and shadow.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Paam ruye khaak-e sookhte
Khaaterat mesl-e ghobar be raft
Man safar-am, bi-neshani
Dar har saayeh, yek dard-e javidani

[Chorus]
Cheragh-e man, roshan dar shab
Del be del, rah mi-yabad
Tanha-am, vali gom nistam
Rooz-i miresad be roshanam

[Verse 2]
Ghalb-e man, ba to hamraah bood
Hatta vaghti rafti az in bood
Sokoot behtar az har kalameh
Zendegi dar laaleh-haa-ye khamoosh meh

[Bridge – prayer-like repetition]
Ya rab, nur-e raah-am bash
Del-e gomgashtam ra panah bash
Dar in khaak, dar in khamushi
Seda-ye to be man bashad arameshi

[Chorus – repeat with light harmony]
Cheragh-e man, roshan dar shab
Del be del, rah mi-yabad
Tanha-am, vali gom nistam
Rooz-i miresad be roshanam

[Outro – echoed]
Rooz-i miresad… be roshanam… be roshanam…

Rain on Santorini

Italian words fall like rain on terrace stones. A lounge ballad filled with wet cobblestones, shared glances, and the smell of citrus on the breeze.

Lyrics

[Verse – sung softly, introspective tone]
La pioggia cade… sul mio cuore stanco
Tu eri qui, ora sei lontano…
Il mare ricorda ogni parola tua…
E il silenzio canta il tuo nome ancora…

[Outro – repeated softly with echo FX]
Il tuo nome ancora…
Il tuo nome ancora…

Shinkansen Dreams

A koto sings softly above the hum of Japan’s high-speed rail. Haiku whispers float by like passing mountains — a journey where motion becomes meditation.

Lyrics

[Whispered throughout the track – spaced and faded into ambience]

Yume no naka de…
(In the middle of a dream…)
kaze wa kotae o motsu…
(the wind holds the answer…)
michi wa tsuzuku…
(the path continues…)

[Outro — Echoed Refrain, fading whispers]

…michi wa… tsuzuku… tsuzuku…
(repeat and fade using stereo delay + reverb)

Echoes of the Lighthouse

Dub and jazz fuse like fog and memory. A muted trumpet drifts across a slow groove, calling out like a beacon to something you almost remember.

Celestia Reprise

Wordless harmonies rise and fall like breath in a starlit room. This is not a song. This is a surrender — the last note before stillness.

Sombra de Sol

Romantic Spanish vocals sway over a chill groove. A classical guitar dances at sunset. This is a love letter left on a warm, empty beach.

Lyrics

[Verse 1 – warm, sultry delivery]
En tu mirada vi el mar
una historia sin final
Tus dedos tocan mi piel
como la brisa del amanecer

[Chorus – swaying rhythm, memorable hook]
Sombra de sol en mi corazón
bailas despacio mi canción
No digas nada, sólo ven
la noche empieza en tu vaivén

[Verse 2 – flowing and poetic]
Luces doradas sobre tu voz
me pierdo sin miedo, sin adiós
Ibiza canta dentro de mí
tu nombre arde como un jazmín

[Bridge – short, instrumental guitar solo]
(featured classical guitar solo here — melodic, expressive)

[Chorus – repeat with vocal harmonies]
Sombra de sol en mi corazón
bailas despacio mi canción
No digas nada, sólo ven
la noche empieza en tu vaivén

Umi no Yūhi (海の夕日)

A Japanese shakuhachi flute leads us home. With just a few whispered words, the sunset melts into the sea — and you remember why you came.

Lyrics

[Verse – soft vocals after beat enters]
Umi wa akarui
Taiyō ga nemuru

[Chorus – layered, chantlike repetition]
Yūhi wa anata
Umi ni tokeru

[Instrumental – Shakuhachi Solo over groove]
(Shakuhachi re-enters for expressive solo — use delay and reverb. No vocal during this section.)

[Bridge – whispered under final pads]
Kaze wa utau
Kimi no namae

[Outro – repeat chorus softly, fading]
Yūhi wa anata…
Umi ni tokeru…
